Poisoning from ingesting this chemical usually occurs from eating foods high in mercury, such as shark, swordfish, king mackerel, and yellowfin tuna. Food poisoning that occurs as a result of ingesting these heavy metals, namely :

- Bleeding in The Digestive Tract
3. Dangers of mercury contact with the skin
Skin contact usually occurs as a result of exposure to illegal cosmetic ingredients. These chemicals are easily absorbed by the skin and enter the bloodstream. Indeed, this ingredient can inhibit the formation of melanin skin dye. This is what makes the skin look brighter. However, this material is corrosive, so it makes the skin layer thinner when touched.
